Established in 1990 in Derby, Nielsen McAllister Public Relations provides PR and communications support to a range of B2B clients across the print, packaging, industrial, construction and pharmaceutical sectors.
We believe effective PR and communications can make a real difference to the impact of our clients' marketing campaigns. By working with them to develop the appropriate plan, we devise and implement the best tactical communications to match both their requirements and budget.
That’s how we have delivered outstanding results for over 25 years and why we enjoy an excellent client retention record. It's also the reason why the majority of our new clients come from recommendations by both existing customers and media contacts.
We are proud members of Marketing Derby and from our offices on Green Lane our team comprises of the PR specialists, qualified journalists and social media gurus below!

With over 30 years of experience in PR, Bob really is an industry expert. Having worked both in-house (for companies such as Grants of St James’s) and for agencies (including Kingsway PR, which became part of Saatchi and Saatchi), he has devised and implemented a wide range of PR campaigns for a variety of clients from Nestlé to Tarmac.
In 1990 Bob founded Nielsen McAllister, since which time he has established many excellent contacts across a number of sectors and is well respected by the packaging and associated media. He has built the company on the foundation of great working relationships and is proud of the fact that he retains his first two clients to this day.
Outside of the office Bob has previously been known to enjoy treading the boards in AmDram, but since putting away the greasepaint he has taken up squash and golf – albeit rather badly.
